Poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)/camphorsulfonic acid (PEDOT/HCSA) composite was prepared with camphorsulfonic acid as the doping agent and FeCl3 as the oxidant. The products were characterized by FT-IR and SEM. The conductivity was related to the molar ratio of EDOT to HCSA and FeCl3 as well as the reaction time. Combining with the results of electrochemistry properties, it’s showed that PEDOT/HCSA composites prepared with the molar ratio of EDOT: HCSA: FeCl3 as 2:1:20 and the reaction time of 41h would be a potential supercapacitor electrode material with a conductivity of 10.4 S?cm-1 and a specific capacitance of 140 F/g after 150 charge-discharge cycles.
