    Abstract:

    In this paper, the tetra-(3,4- dimethoxyphenyl)dithiolene nickel complex was synthesized by sulfuration with P2S5 and nickel complexation by using bis-(3,4-dimethoxy-phenyl) ethanedione as raw materials. The structrure of the final product dithiolene nickle complexes were characterized by IR and 1H-NMR. The maximum absorption wavelengths of tetra-(3,4-dimethoxyphenyl) dithiolene nickel complex in different solvent and its photo stability and thermal stability were investigated.
