Cyclo(Leu-N-MeLeu-Leu-N-MeLeu-Leu), with antiproliferative activities, has been synthesized with leucine for the starting material. The efficiency of cyclization is 53.7%. The structures of product and intermediates were characterized by 1HNMR, 13CNMR and MS. All reactions were mild.
