    Abstract:

A Series of novel fluorine-containing Schiff-bases were obtained from 2-(4-amino-phenyl)-1,1,1,3,3,3-hexafluoro-propan- 2-ol and benzaldehydes via room temperature grinding by solvent-free reaction at room temperature without any catalyst. The products were identified by EA, 1H NMR, IR and MS spectra. Compared with conventional process, the yields of Schiff-bases were increased from 71%-87% to 98%-99%, but the reaction time were shortened from 90-240min to 10-50min by solvent-free reaction.
