    Abstract:

Synthesis of C22-tricarboxylic acid triesters was accomplished by methyl linoleate obtained from biodiesel and dibutyl maleate as raw meterials through different reactions. The structure and molecular weight were confirmed by FTIR、NMR and MS. Results showed that the reaction using iodine as catalyst gave the corresponding Diels-Alder adduct with cyclohexene structure. With KOH/clay catalyst, the product had a conjugated structure according to carbanion process. The radical reaction occurred without catalyst and the produced molecules also contained conjugated structures.
