    Abstract:

Five novel acylhydrazone compounds of isopimaric acid (Ⅲa~Ⅲe) were synthesized from isopimaric acid (IPA) by a three step pathway (acyl chlorination, hydrazinolysis and condensation). The structures of the newly synthesized compounds were confirmed by IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR and MS. The inhibitory activities of compounds Ⅲa~Ⅲe against mice HepG2 cell lines were carried out by MTT assay. The anticancer activity assay showed that compounds Ⅲa and Ⅲc exhibited notable inhibitory effect on HepG2 cancer cell lines at 100 μM with the inhibition rate of 75.42 % and 70.50 %, respectively.
