    Abstract:

The Sn2 doped TiO2 photocatalyst with high specific surface area and high crystallinity was prepared by one-step hydrothermal route. The effects of different molar doping amount on hydrogen production performance were studied. The structure and spectral characteristics of the samples were characterized by XRD, UV-vis, SEM, EDX, XPS and Low temperature N2-adsorption and desorption. Xenon arc lamp was used as the light source to test the photocatalytic activity of different sample under full band and visible light. It turned out that the samples of the molar ratio of n(Ti):n(Sn)=20 had shown maximum photocatalytic activity of hydrogen production performance , the hydrogen production efficiency in the full band and visible light ware 50.3μmol?h-1?g-1 and 33.09μmol?h-1?g-1 respectively. And in multiple cycle test, hydrogen production efficiency had not significantly reduced, witch mean the sample has a stable nature.
