    Abstract:

Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) have shown superior performance in many fields such as gas storage, separation, and catalysis. However, the intrinsic defects and characteristics of MOFs lead to the difficulties in practical applications. Combining MOFs with other materials to produce a new type of material with certain flexibility has become an effective method. This article reviews the preparation and application of MOFs-based flexible composites, future discuss the advantages and disadvantages of different MOFs composites, and shows the support provided by flexible materials as a substrate for practical applications of MOFs. It is believed that more efforts need to be made on further developing of new MOFs composites to improve the possibility and diversity of its’ practical applications.
