Abstract:The latest research progress of piezoelectric energy harvesters and their use in the field of human energy harvesting has been summarized, including the design of piezoelectric energy harvesters for human energy harvesting, the selection of piezoelectric materials more suitable for wearable or implantable applications, and the improvement of the performance of piezoelectric energy harvesters for the human body by new processes. Nowadays, as traditional energy sources are becoming increasingly scarce, higher requirements for environmentally friendly energy harvesters and self-powered wearable devices are being put forward by people, and future piezoelectric energy harvesters for the human body will face more opportunities and challenges. The development and progress of new materials, new technologies, and new processes should be focused on to promote the development of piezoelectric energy harvesters, so as to make them better adapted to different applications and to improve the efficiency of energy harvesting from the human body.
