RAFT 聚合制备水性高颜料分散性油墨乳液

摘要:以 3-烯丙氧基-2-羟基-1-丙磺酸钠(COPS-1)和 2-丙烯酰胺基-2-甲基丙磺酸(AMPS)为原料,通过可
逆加成-断裂链转移(RAFT)聚合制得高分子乳化剂,进而制备水性丙烯酸酯油墨乳液。通过 FTIR 对高分子乳
化剂进行结构分析,并对其进行相对分子质量及分布和临界胶束浓度分析。探讨 RAFT 试剂〔S,S′-二(α,α′-二
甲基-α″-乙酸)三硫代碳酸酯〕用量、高分子乳化剂亲水单体比例和亲水单体用量等对乳液性能的影响。结果表
明:RAFT 聚合所制备的高分子乳化剂具有良好的乳化性能,且相对分子质量分布较窄。其最佳制备工艺为 RAFT
试剂最佳用量为乳液单体质量的 0.6%,亲水单体的最佳比例为 m(COPS-1)∶m(AMPS)∶m(丙烯酸)=1∶2∶3,最
佳亲水单体用量为高分子乳化剂单体质量的 25%。乳胶粒子分散均匀,制备的乳胶膜具备两个玻璃化转变状态。

emulsion by RAFT polymerization

Abstract: Polymer emulsifier was prepared by reversible addition-fragmentation chain transfer (RAFT)
polymerization using sodium 3-allyloxy-2-hydroxy-1-propane sulfonic acid (COPS-1) and
2-acrylamide-2-methylpropanesulfonic acid (AMPS) as raw materials. And then water-based acrylate ester
ink emulsion was prepared. The structure and properties of the polymer emulsifier were characterized by
FTIR, GPC and critical micelle concentration analysis. The effects of RAFT agent dosage, hydrophilic
monomer ratio of polymer emulsifier, hydrophilic monomer dosage on the properties of emulsion were
investigated. The results showed that the polymer emulsifier prepared by RAFT polymerization had good
emulsifying properties and narrow relative molecular mass distribution under the conditions of dosage of
RAFT reagent [S,S′-bis(α,α′-dimethyl-α"-acetic acid)trithiocarbonate] being 0.6% of the mass of monomers,
m(COPS-1)∶m(AMPS)∶m(AA)=1∶2∶3, and hydrophilic monomer being 25% of the mass of monomers.
The prepared emulsion particles had uniformly dispersion, and the latex film exhibited two glass transition states.
